The route from Manali to Kaza in the Spiti Valley spans 400 kilometers over two action-packed days. As you traverse this magnificent route, you'll encounter a multitude of road conditions, each presenting its unique set of thrills and challenges. From smooth tarmac that lets you open up the throttle to rugged off-the-beaten-track trails with gravel and water crossings, every twist and turn offers a new facet of adventure.

Route

Day 1 – Arrival in Manali: Gateway to Adventure

Upon arriving in Manali - the gateway to this incredible journey, you will be warmly greeted and directed to check-in at the hotel. Rest assured, we have arranged comfortable twin-sharing accommodations for you, complete with hearty breakfasts and delicious dinners to fuel you for the days ahead.

Check-in time is at 12:00 PM, so you can settle in and freshen up before immersing yourself in the adventure. We kindly request all participants to present any personal identification required for hotel check-in.

As the afternoon unfurls, you'll have the opportunity to meet and greet the enthusiastic crew and your fellow participants. This camaraderie-building session is a perfect way to connect with like-minded adventurers who share your passion for two-wheel exploration. During this meet, you will also receive a detailed briefing on the upcoming epic journey that is Scram Himalaya.

Day 2 – Manali to Kaza: Journey to the Himalayan Gem

On Day 2, get ready for an exhilarating expedition from Manali to Kaza, spanning 230 kilometers and approximately 8 to 9 hours of awe-inspiring riding.

As the sun peeks over the horizon, we embark on our journey, starting with a thrilling ride through the renowned Atal Tunnel. The road ahead transforms into a gravel path, leading us towards the Pass.

Brace yourself for the longest day on the saddle, a true test of both skill and determination. The ascent in elevation and the seemingly never-ending zigzagging roads into the mystical Spiti valley promise an adventure like no other.

The challenges may be formidable, but every twist and turn on this path brings rewards beyond imagination. The breathtaking landscapes, the untamed beauty of the Himalayas, and the sense of accomplishment will make this journey a truly worthwhile adventure.

Upon reaching Kaza, we'll check into a cozy hotel, where you can unwind and rest after the day's exhilarating ride. A well-deserved dinner awaits, allowing you to replenish your energy for the days that lie ahead.

Day 3 – Kaza Exploration

As the sun rises over the breathtaking desert mountain top, Day 3 in Kaza promises more exciting adventures. Gear up to conquer another challenge by embarking on a thrilling hill climb towards the magnificent statue of Lord Buddha. Feel the rush as you ascend higher, soaking in the panoramic views that surround you.

Afterward, get ready for a fun-filled drag race, where you can showcase your riding prowess and speed. But the excitement doesn't stop there! Later in the day, it's time for a fantastic fancy dress ride. Prepare your costume and channel your inner idol actor or superhero as you join in the parade of creativity and enthusiasm.

As the evening descends, gather around the warm firepit, and crack open some refreshing beers while immersing yourself in the cultural folklore of Spiti valley. Listen to captivating stories and immerse yourself in the local traditions, adding an enriching experience to your journey.

Day 4 – Rally and Farewell: Kaza to Manali

As we bid adieu to the captivating Kaza, Day 4 takes us back to Manali, retracing the same adventurous route we conquered earlier. However, before we conclude this unforgettable journey, we have one last thrill in store for you – a thrilling section of Rally.

Prepare to unleash your competitive spirit and showcase your off-road riding prowess on this challenging stretch. The Rally will put your skills to the test, and you'll need to be at the top of your game to conquer this particular section. It's a chance to prove your mettle and leave a lasting mark on Scram Himalaya.

Upon arriving back in Manali, the excitement peaks as you ride into the podium with pride. Your participation and triumph in Scram Himalaya will be commemorated with a well-deserved trophy, a symbol of your remarkable adventure.

In the evening, join us for a heartfelt farewell Musical event. Let the music and camaraderie fill the air as we bid goodbye to this extraordinary journey. The memories you've gathered during this adventure will be cherished forever, a precious bundle of experiences to carry with you.

Day 5 – Departure: The End of an Epic Tale

With gratitude for joining us on this incredible journey, we bid you farewell.

Before embarking on this thrilling adventure, we want to ensure that you are well-prepared for the unforgettable journey that awaits. Here are some essential guidelines to keep in mind:

Motorcycle: There are two options for participating in Scram Himalaya, one is you ride our Bullet 500 equipped with the Scrambler Kit or you bring your own customized motorcycle. We believe that customized bikes reflect your passion for two-wheels. So either ride our custom scrambler or bring your custom ride to embrace your unique style. Stock bikes are best left in your shed for now. You can send your bike's picture to us for checking customized eligibilty.
Insurance Coverage: Prioritize safety first! Ensure that your insurance adequately covers any potential road injuries. A secure and protected ride is crucial for a worry-free journey.
Riding Experience: Make sure you possess competitive riding skills, as this adventure demands a confident rider. Off-road riding experience is required to conquer the challenging terrains.
Mechanical Skills: Basic mechanical know-how is essential, though our team will be on hand to address any wear and tear issues. Familiarize yourself with your bike to ensure a smooth ride.
Fancy Dress: Pack your creative spirit! Bring along your fancy dress, as you have the freedom to disguise yourself into whatever character or persona you desire.
Riding Gear: Dust off your riding gear and be well-equipped for the journey. However, we kindly request you not to show up in your thong; appropriate riding attire is essential for comfort and safety.
Altitude Eligibility: Ensure you are eligible to ride in high-altitude regions. Acquaint yourself with the effects of altitude and take necessary precautions for a healthy and enjoyable experience.
Medication: If you are under any prescribed medication, remember to pack an ample supply for the duration of the adventure.

1. Motorcycle: We will be providing Royal Enfield Bullet 500 Scrambler bikes or you can bring your own custom ride. Anyone bringing his/her own motorcycle will be compensated Rs.1000/day.

2. Accommodation: Rest in comfort and style with twin-sharing arrangements in clean and cozy hotels. A good night's sleep awaits you after thrilling days on the road.

3. Meals: Fuel your adventure with delicious breakfast and dinner provided in the hotel. Savor the flavors of the region and recharge for the exhilarating days ahead.

4. English/Hindi-speaking Guide: Meet our expert guide, a seasoned motorcyclist driven by passion. Their profound knowledge of the region and love for two-wheels will enrich your journey.

5. Safety Kit: Your well-being is our priority. A medical kit with an oxygen cylinder ensures you're prepared for any unforeseen circumstances.

6. Mechanics on Hand: Ride with confidence, knowing that our skilled mechanics are equipped with all necessary spare parts. They'll keep your bike in top shape, leaving you free to enjoy the ride.

7. Support Vehicle: For those moments when a break is needed, our backup jeep is at your service. Rest your @$$ in comfort while still being part of the adventure.

With these inclusions, we've taken care of every detail to ensure an extraordinary and hassle-free expedition. All you need to do is gear up, embrace the open road, and make memories to last a lifetime.

Inclusions: Your Ultimate Adventure Package

While we aim to provide an all-encompassing adventure, certain aspects are not included in the package. Here's what you should keep in mind:

1. Lunch, Bike Fuel & Mineral Water: During the day, lunch and bike fuel are not included in the package. You'll have the freedom to explore local cuisines and refuel your bike as needed. Also, don't forget to stay hydrated with your own supply of mineral water.

2. Monument Entry Fees: Visiting any monuments or historical sites will require separate entry fees, which are not included in the package. Immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage by exploring these sites at your own expense.

3. Visa: For international travelers, arranging your visa is your responsibility. Ensure you have the necessary documentation and permissions for a smooth journey.

4. International/Domestic transportation: Your transportation to reach Manali and going back home from Manali is not included and you have to make your own travel arrangements.

5. Insurance and Personal Expenses: We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive medical and travel insurance coverage to safeguard your well-being and belongings. Additionally, any personal expenses are not covered in the package.

6. Communication Charges: Any telephone calls or internet charges will be at your own expense. Stay connected with loved ones and the world, but keep in mind that these costs are not part of the package.

7. Tips: While optional, showing appreciation for your guide, driver, and mechanic is customary.

8. Miscellaneous Expenses: Any items or services not mentioned in the included section will be at your discretion and cost.

9. Alcoholic Beverages: Enjoying alcoholic beverages during the trip will be at your own expense. Please drink responsibly and be mindful of local regulations.

10. Damage to Motorcycle: In case of any damage to the motorcycle during the journey, the rider will be responsible for covering the repair costs in full.

11. Force Majeure: Unforeseen calamities beyond our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or breakdowns, may incur additional costs or adjustments to the itinerary.

12. Itinerary Extensions: Any extensions or changes to the itinerary beyond the planned schedule will be subject to additional costs.
